Playmobil
big news for 2026
2026 is shaping up to be a key year for PLAYMOBIL, marked by renewal and strategic expansion.
2026 will be a year full of new launches for PLAYMOBIL, thanks to the introduction of numerous new licenses that will enrich our Kidult product portfolio, says Andrea Galmozzi, the company’s Marketing Manager.
Among the most significant highlights are collaborations with iconic brands such as WWE, Vespa, and Barbie, designed to reach new audiences and further broaden the range.
These collaborations will result in exclusive, detail-oriented lines created to deliver even more engaging play experiences, while also being highly sought-after by collectors,” adds Galmozzi. At Toys & Baby Milano, PLAYMOBIL will also unveil important new developments related to its more classic worlds. In 2026, we will see the return of some much-loved themes, such as knights, with a new play world centered around the majestic Lion Knights’ Castle, explains Galmozzi.
A comeback aimed at refreshing a timeless classic, capable of captivating both children and long-time brand enthusiasts. Alongside this, a new line dedicated to the equestrian world will debut: “With the ‘I Love Horses’ collection, we celebrate a timeless passion, offering products designed for all horse lovers”.
From a strategic perspective, the company is focusing on structured and targeted growth. For 2026, we are concentrating on a strategy focused on expanding our licenses and strengthening our market presence, Galmozzi emphasizes. The goal is to develop play worlds that can engage increasingly broad audiences, from young children to adult collectors. The relationship with retail will also be key: We aim to consolidate partnerships through impactful promotional activities, both during the Christmas period and throughout the year.
