Love For Inclusion specializes in digital products and board games for families and schools, paying much attention to the inclusion of children with special educational needs and non-Italian speaking ones. All products are begotten by the cooperation of a scientific team, made up of age of development professionals and teachers, a technical team, made up of skilled digital learning programmers, and a creative team, made up of fairy tale illustrators.
“We use to hear children shout out ‘tadà’ when they show us their masterpieces”, explains Dr Lucia Avino, age of development neuropsychomotor therapist and co-founder. “Our Tadà Play – Le Storie che Giochi (The Stories You Play) line combines two activities that are utterly useful for growth: shared reading and quality play. We conveyed our experience of age of development professionals into games which promote a whole growth, not only in terms of competences that assist learning such as attention, memory, executive functions but also – and above all – in terms of personal and relational skills. Our games are stimulating but we pay much attention to design as well, and to challenging and fun play dynamics, like in Lupo Scorreggione (Farting Wolf), the three little pigs’ game. We have chosen to use fairy tales for the games’ setting because children grow fond of the characters and have their own favourite story: playing, they can carry on the adventure and, vice versa, become keen on reading thanks to the game”.
At Toys & Baby Milano, Love for Inclusion will show its games line with totally renewed packing and design and with the addition of new products, in English too. “Furthermore, we will launch a highly involving game, set in a bewitched island, in mixed reality: children in fact have to move physical elements and every action in the real world corresponds to an action on the display”, announces Avino. “Fighting the wicked witch, they train precious STEM competences and attention”.
