Iervolino Trade
focuses on quality and sustainability
In the European toy market, increasingly oriented toward quality, safety, and brand identity, the journey of Antonio Iervolino, CEO of Iervolino Trade, stands out. A young company with deep roots, it was established during one of the most complex periods for the global economy and has proven capable of transforming difficulties into opportunities.
My company was born from an ambitious project during the difficult period of the Covid-19 pandemic, in the summer of 2020, says Iervolino. We started in an uncertain context, but with a clear vision: to build something distinctive, capable of evolving alongside the market. Coming from a family already active in import-export trade, Iervolino chose to reinterpret tradition with a contemporary perspective. Today, we aim to keep up with the times through the selection and creation of exclusive products for the national and European markets, he explains.
This approach combines experience and innovation, with particular attention to the quality of materials and the differentiation of the offering. A symbol of this strategy is the registered Wild Life brand, which will take center stage at upcoming industry trade fairs.
The Wild Life line includes a selection of realistic collectible animals suitable for all ages, Iervolino emphasizes. These are unique items in the European market: made of soft, padded rubber and tested for children aged 18 months and up. The choice of materials is one of the key distinguishing elements. Soft, padded rubber makes these products safe and virtually indestructible, he continues. We believe it is among the most sustainable materials currently available: a valid alternative both to traditional plush toys and to classic plastic toys, which are often not suitable for children under three years old.
Alongside the core line, 2026 marks an important evolution for the brand.
Our absolute novelty is the ‘Wild Life Mascotte Football Team’ line, announces the CEO. “It is a variant entirely designed by us, from the mold to the color mix, inspired by Italian league teams. A project that combines creativity and customization, also designed with distribution in mind. Each retailer, with the appropriate presence in their territory, can create their own Wild Life Football Team mascot on request, explains Iervolino. It’s a way to offer an exclusive product, strongly connected to local identity and sporting passion. Initial market feedback has been encouraging. Our products already on the market are achieving excellent results, both among distributors and on e-commerce platforms, he states. This confirms that we are on the right path.
Despite its growth, the company maintains an authentic entrepreneurial spirit, captured in an image Iervolino likes to quote:
We are a small boat that, by distinguishing itself from the big ships, will still manage to cross the oceans. A metaphor that encapsulates the ambition and determination of a project that started uphill but looks far ahead.
