celebrates 20 years and launches Foxy Games
There is an important milestone to celebrate for Red Glove Edizioni, which, on the occasion of its 20th anniversary, announces the launch of Foxy Games, a new game line created to train the mind without giving up the thrill of adventure.
With Foxy Games we wanted to show that learning can be an engaging and enjoyable experience, not something separate from play, explains Simona Lombardo, CEO of Red Glove Edizioni. Our goal is for children and adults to focus on the challenge and the fun, only to discover afterwards that they have been exercising logic, calculation and problem-solving skills.
The debut of the line includes four titles aimed at children aged 7–8 and up. In Lava Run, players must escape the lava of an erupting volcano, while Maya Run throws them into a cursed temple that must be escaped before it collapses. In both games, rolling the dice creates different scenarios, and it is up to the children to decide how to move and what to collect along the way. Mathematics comes into play naturally: calculations and comparisons become tools for making the best decisions, without ever interrupting the pace of the adventure. The lineup is completed by Pet Detective Day and Pet Detective Night, two logic deduction games in which young investigators follow a series of clues to correctly place characters and animals in order to solve the cases.
Foxy Games also looks to adults with Dungeon Cube, a logic puzzle set in a fantasy universe. “It’s a game that combines manipulation, storytelling and mental challenge,” Lombardo concludes, “designed for those who love puzzles as well as stories that unfold step by step, just like in a gamebook.”
