Drones, robots, and creativity: innovations of 2026
The company is consolidating its role in the remote-controlled segment and investing in R&D to develop products that are increasingly safe, high-performing, and capable of combining entertainment and education.
“For 2026, we aim to strategically expand our portfolio, with particular attention to electronics and products designed for a broader audience,” says Edoardo Tralli, Purchasing / R&D at ODS Toys. The Italian company is preparing to strengthen its presence in the drone and remote-controlled helicopter segment under the Radiofly brand, introducing models characterized by high-quality standards, optimized control systems, and advanced features.
“Our goal is to ensure an intuitive and safe play experience, designed for both children and technology enthusiasts,” adds Tralli, highlighting the importance of combining fun with technical performance. The Radiocom line dedicated to remote-controlled vehicles will also undergo significant expansion, with new models developed to offer refined design, precise control, and durable materials. “We want to propose innovative solutions with perceivable value that stand out compared to standard market offerings,” explains Tralli. At the same time, the Radiocom Mars robotics range will be updated with models that foster more structured and engaging interaction, enhancing children’s logical and educational skills and making learning a stimulating game.
Among the most interesting novelties is the Magic Sketch EcoWrite board, already patented in several countries, which combines technology and sustainability. The product stands out for its ability to write and erase endlessly, reducing environmental impact and responding to the growing demand for green solutions in the toy sector. “We are aiming for a transversal offering that covers children, teenagers, and adults, combining entertainment, creativity, and STEM learning,” emphasizes Tralli.
For 2026, ODS Toys intends to consolidate its leadership in the remote-controlled sector, strengthening the identity of its key brands and developing new smart electronic products that integrate fun and educational content. The company will continue to invest in Research and Development and pursue internationalization by collaborating with qualified commercial partners who recognize the quality, design innovation, and high safety standards of its product lines.
We are not aiming for a generalized omnichannel approach; rather, we want to excel in the channels most aligned with our products’ positioning, ensuring reliability, qualified service, and sustainable margins, concludes Tralli. 2026 will therefore be a year of strategic transformation for ODS Toys, with the goal of offering products that are increasingly safe, high-performing, and distinctive in terms of design and functionality, consolidating structured and sustainable growth in the medium to long term, and strengthening the presence of its brands in Italy and abroad.
